The hotel « Les Colonnes” opens its doors to you, as to the friends that we meet  every year … Right away, you  will feel good … you want to stay and share good times … quite naturally … this is how we want to welcome you by combining authenticity, simplicity and conviviality.

You also have a free wifi connection for each room in the hotel. To get your wifi access, just ask for an access code at the reception.

Also good to know, the hotel “Les Colonnes” has two rooms PMR (for people with reduced mobility)…

Hôtel Les Colonnes
opens its doors to you from mid-March
to mid-December 2023,
after some renovations.

The hotel has 27 rooms all decorated differently to preserve an authentic spirit: 14 overlooking the sea to enjoy the bustle of the port, 13 with views of the old town to enjoy the sunshine from morning to evening and relax in peace.

Two PMR rooms are available. One “port side” and the other “city side”. The establishment is on one level and the rooms are accessible by lift.

When booking, you can specify the choice of a double bed (160 cm)
or 2 twin beds (2 x 90 cm), this choice will be validated according to availability.


All rooms have a TV, a telephone, a toilet and a safe. Shower or bathroom.

DEPARTURE HOURS ARE FROM 8 AM TO 11 AM

For any arrival or departure outside these hours, please contact the reception to find out the instructions for late arrivals.

Any room vacated after 12 noon will be charged for an additional night.

Due to the hotel’s exceptional situation in the heart of the historical center of Saint-Martin-de-Ré, at certain times of the year, it becomes a pedestrian area.

City Hall department delivers access codes to the hotels.

If you wish to drive up to the hotel to unload your luggage, contact the reception before your arrival to obtain a SINGLE USE access code. Parking is limited in the pedestrian area.

Parking is limited in the pedestrian area. Free car parks are available outside the fortifications (Cible beach, 15 minutes on foot). Regulated car parks can be found inside the fortifications.

The hotel has a closed parking lot, located behind the hotel, but does not communicate directly with the hotel. (500 meters on foot). The number of parking spaces is limited.

The hotel offers a closed, bike storage area free of charge. It is locked each night. (opening hours: from 8am till 11 pm in high season and from 8am to 20pm in low season).
